Wouldn't it be fun if we could combine the visual collecting of inspiration of Pinterest with Shopping? Luvocracy, currently in its early stages, does just that. I've been playing with the site since receiving my invitation a few weeks ago, and really love it so far. And, I'm rather in awe of the good company on the site - Oh Joy, A Cup of Jo, Uncle Beefy, Hither & Tither, Pennywise, to name a few. (All, I might add- have impeccable taste).
Here's how it works: Members and "Tastemakers" (those members who have more blog/social media Klout in Luvocracy-land) create curated "Collections" (or Boards in Pinterest-Land). Just like Pinterest, you follow people whose taste you like
(or "Trust" in Luvocracy speak), and view items they recommend. The main difference between Luvocracy and Pinterest, aside from the fact that only Products (no DIY's, or Recipes to be found here) are "recommended" (ie "pinned" in Pinterest-speak) is that you can make a purchase directly on the Luvoacracy site. No need to click over to another Shop. Simply - Enter your payment info once on Luvocracy's secure site - and Luvocracy will handle the rest for you. The ease of shopping here is more akin to Amazon - every and any product you want to buy, you can do directly through Luvocracy.
Can it get any better?: Why yes, indeed, it can! As an added incentive, if someone purchases a product you suggest on your virtual catalogue page through Luvocracy, you will be
rewarded in cash or Luvocracy credit. It's free to join, but you do need an invitation at this early stage. Would you like one?
Here is my invitation to you - just click here! A little added bonus - if you sign up today before 11:59PM, you will automatically receive $5 Luvocracy credit, just for joining. As an additional incentive, Luvocracy is currently giving shoppers $10 in credit (which can be applied to future purchases) for every $100 spent from now through February 2nd which can then be used after February 4th-February 10.

I am very curious and excited to see where and how this highly addictive site grows over the years. Just as with Pinterest, it will be more enjoyable as more people join.
Here's to Good Taste! Let me know what you think of the site when you've had a chance to Browse, ok? I would love to see the catalogue's you create, so provide the link to your catelogue in the Comments! XO
